Kevin Borg, Pharm D, is the founding pharmacist of Summit Pharmacy Inc. He received his bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from Grand Canyon University (Phoenix) in 1997. After graduating with honors, Kevin attended Midwestern University College of Pharmacy (Glendale, AZ), where he again graduated with honors and received his doctor of pharmacy degree.
After graduation, Kevin took a job with Walgreens, where he progressed in less than two years from staff pharmacist to manager of a busy, 24-hour pharmacy. Walgreens also selected him as an Emerging Leader within the company. Currently, Kevin is a member of Rho Chi, the pharmacy honor society, as well as an adjunct clinical preceptor for pharmacy students.
We also have a skilled, experienced, and devoted staff at Summit. Most of our staff members are former medical assistants; they have worked in medical offices and have worked closely with physicians. Our staff has experience in dealing with insurance companies, referral coordination, medical-office billing (for both major healthcare organizations and in the private sector), customer service, and, most important, patient care.
